Anyone with some time mind helping me to show a few ways I can improve?

I know I should be more aggressive and build more units, but that's about it.

I do a lot more team games, and my 1 v 1 is kind of terrible I think.

Just watching the first minute, I can already give you these three tips:

1) On Trojan Hills, wind generators have a minimum of 1.1 energy per second, and at half the cost of a solar collector, it is always better to build wind generators over solar (unless using Solar's for a wall off).

2) Cloak bot is the second fastest scouter in the game, while on this map spiders can be common, you don't have to rush a Lotus before you even start building energy.

3) Your Glaive dies to a Scorcher which is pushing toward your base, immediately cancel whatever is in production and build a Reaver to defend, or alternatively, upgrade your Recon commander to level 2 with a machine gun and defend it best that way.

After the first minute:

4) When expanding to a group of mexes, dont just build 3 mexes and begin building energy, build some static defence. Depending on how much map control I have, if I was in this position at 2:30, I would have built one mex into two lotuses into the remaining mexes and energy.

5) Learn unit counters and match ups. Into the third minute now and still not a single Reaver. A Reaver on attack move can take out 2-3 times it's worth in Scorchers, especially when at a height advantage. If he builds Scorchers, you build Reavers, if he builds Ravagers, you build Ronin, if he builds Fencers, you build Slings.

6) 4:30 gametime. Be more cognizant of your raiding force. Don't put raiders on attack move, as the AI doesn't know how to fight against beam lasers like the Lotus, and subsequently will just try and man fight them to the death. Your best option is to shift move them around the outside of mexes, for Glaives, in groups of at least 2, so that they'll take out any mex as they pass (1 Glaive won't do enough damage in the time it takes to walk past if you're walking near max range). Your aim is to kill mexes and if convenient, wind generators. Do not under any circumstances engage static defense or the commander unless you're ahead or can overwhelm the defenses swiftly enough not to suffer significant losses.

That's pretty much it from this replay. I would also suggest focusing on securing more mexes but your lack of map control stemmed from your lack of harrassment and unit countering, and had you possessed more map control I'm sure you would have expanded more.

I hope this helps.
