Well, i tried to target the (i think) first ddm with my penetrator, but it didn´t shoot because i couldn´t get LOS. Seems Penetrator cant shoot such a terraformed building....

it can, but you need visual. Put off target radar dots

Here's why you can't manually target the DDM position:


Your manual target is snapped to the ground and the pene can't hit the ground below the DDM, so it doesn't fire.

Defense generally doesn't work this well. As skills, cracking defenses scales better than porcing. That's why SKrankSvatopluk used to be able to porc in 1v1's against 1800(ish?) players (making them look and feel foolish), but past 1800 it's really just delaying death.

A lot of the popular tools such as dante and reaper don't really work against a certain level of porc (DDM+). It takes some experience and knowledge to take these defenses down.

The pene not targeting the DDM was a pain, but katastrophe could have torn that base down with catapults no problem. A vulture getting LOS would have been worth it too.

impalers vs ddm is painful still, unless you go for the pylons and other support structures (you can just "raid" mexes with it too)
