You basically won because USrankFupped managed to have his trollcom get killed.

It was not bad but if you were more aggresive you could have won much earlier.
Your tremor didn't kill anything.

Next time make a smaller terraform platfrom because you basically allowed jumpjets to possibly jump onto your Gauss.

Generally speaking I don't think you won because you played well but because USrankFupped played really stupid. But its not like you did terribly either.

Llamadeus played pretty badly too, although he started out stronger than fupped did then suicided all his stuff into kingstad's trollcom and porc.

One does not open with 4 kodachis, especially on a small map like red comet. You only need 2-3 at most, and probably 1-2 for this map. It also only takes one shot from a kodachi to kill a mex, assuming that the enemy doesn't repair it, and kodachis murder glaives like nobody's business.

Mid-game pillagers were not a bad idea, even though several of them got sniped/scythed. Other than that you built too many banishers. Reapers are the core of mid-late game tanks, and vs that weak cloaky you could have even spammed panthers and probably killed him.

Tanks are a pretty tough match for cloaky even if cloaky plays well, since rockos are nearly useless in that matchup and snipers barely have anything in their killable weight range. They're left with pretty much warrior, zeus and glaives, and maybe scythe harassment, all of which is a razor's edge from getting smashed by HT's high attrition units if they're allowed to build up.

I think Spectres and Scythes are key units against HT. Tanks have no light units to screen for Scythes, to waste Spectre shots, or to find Spectres poking them.

Their solution to Spectre harrass is tanking it with Reapers, but this also means that anything that is not Reaper is liable to get killed very fast and then Glaives can actually inflict DPS on the Reapers.

That said, given that Kodachi pretty much shuts down Glaive, it's still a very hard matchup for Cloaky. But i think the bulk of the hardship is early on, not late on; especially as late on it's easier to get specialist counters for Reapers.

Actually, I also had problems getting my hands on reclaim simply because I would end up killing them in enemy territory and I had no builders to reclaim anyway
