imo good example why games so far were not so interessting.

orange makes epic shieldporc in middle:

blue has lagged out/left and red is basically doing nothing after initially being shooed away.
So yellow shots the porc with a tremor which almost gets the shields down, but only almost. Had the other players done similiar (or anything at all) outcome would have been different.

Also obvious startpositions fail, Ive fixed !addbox commands so that in 4FFA all players start in corner instead of unfair like this.

In fact i had 2 tremors shooting the shields down. But at that moment minerals left my base and i was unable to finish the job. Orange got all minerals and nobody except me gave a damn...
On a sidenote: The amount of skill/ressources you need to invest and the sucess rate on beating porc with anything is a pretty heavy contradiction to the mantra of not building porc but units...

I was really looking forward to this map, but it fails as an FFA map because instead of trying to claim the middle, most players sit around and try to win with what they have. Which is bound to fail if there's somebody controlling middle, but apparently nobody cares...

I have yet to see a game with real action in the middle on that map. So far it's "who porcs up an anni faster".

Also notice how corner islands have 1. longer way to middle and 2. more narrow path to build on. That's kind of unfair in my eyes...

red also had scorpion strider but did not use it. :/
iirc when it was 2 tremors it was already too late.
basically Drone and you were the players who "got it" but you were spawned between two other guys while he was free to expand to right side - bad luck. (and with new boxes should not happen anymore)

true, that is so fail. Though in other FFA maps I see the same thing (unless the map is really small and sometimes even then)
Even players do not even notice the startposition next to them is empty, there is something wrong.
zK also offers so many units that can go around the middle and kill the base/energy of mid porcing players.

Maybe it really is better as teams or even 1v1 map, played two 1v1s with Godde on testversion and it was kinda cool how you could expand to the different islands.

Map layout:
It is a map with long tradition in RTS so all imbaness has cultural value. ;)
Longer path to middle also means once it creeps to middle they get a bit more minerals spawned on there. More narrow paths=easier to defend?

Why would narrow paths be easier to defend? You saw me struggling to fit 2 tremors and a building on that path...
