CArankTheMooseIsLoose do you play with LoS enabled? I find it hard to look at previous versions of this map with LoS.

LoS is enabled by default and generally people should play with it on.

It could be good if the minimap reflected the inland lavapools, as they look passable on the minimap. This is the most beautiful ZK map imo :D

AUrankAdminGoogleFrog I play with los. I added greater contrast to slope coloration last update, but iirc your issue was with lower areas being too dark? I think they are okay, but what are your thoughts on visibility of terrain outside los? In a lot of older rts games terrain is blacked out until explored, and zk's los settings are quite dark as well.

CArankPxtl Current setup with Zed in world machine is a pretty flexible colorizer based texture. I likely won't use Zed's exact style in the future but the work is easily adaptable with different colors.

The design looks really neat imo. Would be cool to see this applied to a map with a more interesting layout (like Ravaged or that new map by Forb)

CArankTheMooseIsLoose : what is your fog brightness value (Settings/Interface/Map/Radar Color/Fog Brightness)? At the default of 0.5 Zed is really dark with it on where you don't have vision, and it basically loses the iridescence and becomes pretty solidly blue.

CArankAdminShadowfury333 I'm using the default though I prefer a brighter value. The blue diffuse texture is by design, though the north-facing slopes have too much preshading and appear unpathable outside los.
