At no point in this replay did it seem like NCG was going to lose a fight, but then won it instead off the back of some imbalanced BS.

The battle you're talking about you sent: (1200)

2x bandit (150)

1x convict (120)

While you did outnumber him, he had two riots with shields to protect them?? What did you expect to happen with only low dps raiders?

I'm not trying to be mean, but you didn't deserve to win - it had nothing to do with balance. NCG just played better on the day.

Sure, NCG took advantage of the weakness in your play.

You took a risky ninja expansion on his side of the map. Given the distance, you can only reinforce with fast units that cannot stand toe-to-toe with his shielded riots. You take the fight you can't win to protect the expansion you can't defend. He wins. It's nothing to do with balance.
