beside the commander bot getting killed at sea. A new idea has come to me about the gunship factory it's not logical that the carry system in zero-k depends on picking up one unit at A time. give the charon and hercules more space to carry units, keep the size ratio the same for picking up big stuff like tanks and detriemnts and striders but give the hercules the ability to get 2 tanks in the air and fly. the charon ability to pick up 10 fleas or take 4 scorchers in air too. doesn't make sense to pick on up at A time and get shot down with ease. give charon some legs or arms and let them carry more ;D. for faster transportation.

The concept of multi-unit transports, in particular Hercules, has been raised in the past, for example:

Nobody has felt particularly inspired to work on it in the last few years, but it seems like a reasonably discrete task so a new developer could attempt it without having to understand the entire codebase. It's probably not the most trivial task out there though.
