i hate when lobby suggests only tiny maps, so willl be good to use, for example, expression like "!map min=16,10".

I believe the !map command tries to pick an appropriate size for the current number of players.

Players should not be limited in it. If random, so shoud be trully random. Without "appropriate".

To word-shitters: don't shit about random numbers.

Hey, I think it's a good idea - just my uses for it would be different to yours.

RUrankHuj, AUrankAdminAquanim: You're both right!

However, if this happened it should come with a corresponding GUI (min max slider, like online store price range searches, maybe).

Also, how about an option to make it pick non-featured maps as well?

The only problem with picking non-featured maps is I'm sure my maps folder will expand 5 more GBs

While some non-featured maps are playable and fun, a large number of them are outright broken and can't be played on.

how about a simpler syntax

!map +8 (filters out maps with dimension smaller than 8)

!map -16 (filters out maps with a dimension greater than 16)

!map +/- #

Definitely featured maps only, else what is the point of the featured/non-featured distinction. The main reason a map is not featured is because it is broken, superseded or shit.

You guys seem to talk like if i had proposed to abolish the whole featuring thing, there are tons of options that can break the game and no one whines about them, so another one wouldn't be a problem

it should come with a corresponding GUI

Of course, initially i wrote about corresponding option, but then recalled that somebody(ies) in another topic(s) wrote about avoiding of lobby interface overloading (at least face panel), and deleted that part of text.
